Factory Game Day 2
The other day in humanities we had to make a toy for our "little sibling" as if we were in the dark ages. Today, we had to make an assembly line to make many of one toy. First the class voted on which toy looked the best. Once we had decided, the artist became the "manager" of the class or "workers". We all had to make a peice of the toy and make a load of them as if we were in a factory. I noticed that on the first day it took a lot longer to make a toy by oursleves than how long it took to make them in the assembly line. It took longer the first day becasue we were more worried about the quality rather than the speed. I also noticed that even though it took longer on day one, they were better quality than the ones made quicker on day two. The products of day two came out more sloppy and not that much work went into them because we were rushed. Also, on day two everyone was more stressed, so people were yelling and screaming at eachother. We didn't get much of enjoyment out of day two, but we made more toys which means more "money" for us. In the end, money is really what it comes down to.
